Giving back to our community is part of what we’ve been doing for two generations. We believe in supporting our local nonprofit businesses that make other people’s lives better. Each year JC Insurance supports the “The Pioneer Freedge” at the Elyria south library. We sponsor the Wellington High School Community Service Day and act as a collection site to support the United Way School Supply Drive.

We also like to feature the efforts of our clients and what they do in the community by sharing their stories in our monthly newsletter.

Our Commitment to Volunteering

Each member of our staff volunteers within the community. We believe it’s important for our team to volunteer, so we give them time away from the office to volunteer with their own personal favorite charities in the community. Did you know JC Insurance donates $5 for every referral to the Pioneer Freedge here in Elyria? Plus, if you give a referral, your name goes into a drawing. The winner gets $100 donated to the charity of their choice.

The Pioneer Freedge is a community refrigerator, freezer, and dry goods shelf that is open 24/7 and relies on donations from the community.
